How long do I have to register my gift?
You need to register your gift before the ‘register by’ date on the back of your tin sleeve. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible.
How long does my adoption last?
Your adoption lasts for 12 months from the date of registration.
How long does it take for me to receive my certificate?
These will be dispatched within 28 days receipt of your registration details. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic’s control may affect delivery times.
Can I visit the donkeys?
Many adopters are able to visit their donkey on the farm in Oxfordshire, UK. The full address and contact details are provided in the gift tin. The Sanctuary is open daily from 11am–4pm. If you would like to visit a particular donkey, please contact the farm beforehand as the donkeys often take part in community activities off the farm. Please note that the farm can get very muddy!
Will I be able to ride one of the donkeys?
No. Although some of the donkeys can be ridden, all riding time is given to children with special needs.

Unfortunately not. Because the giraffes are protected and due to the nature of the conservation projects, it is not possible to visit the giraffes. Part of the conservation effort of PTES is to ensure that the giraffes maintain their natural behaviour in their natural habitat. This requires minimum disturbance to their natural environment.
